Sports photographer Anthony Causi recently became the latest casualty to COVID-19, taking one of the most beloved sports journalists in New York City. Causi lived with confidence and eagerness within his field, to not only take the great photos, but be the best at taking great photos. Causi was widely respected by all those who knew him, and inspired the next not only the next generation of sports journalists, but to even his colleagues who worked by his side day by day. Coronavirus has made it’s mark all throughout the country in recent months, and the passing of Causi ripped a hole in our profession. The man that set a standard, could basically see the future, and manage to make us all smile is now in a better place. Rest in peace Anthony Causi.
