This has been tough to say the least. Sports have been virtually nonexistent for the last 19 days and boredom has begun setting in. I understand the stay-at-home order is to keep us safe from one another because Covid-19 is out of control, but I had to sneak out of the house to feel the fresh air again. I journeyed to my high school capturing photos that also came with distant memories. Walking all over the emptied high school fields, a cop was watching me from a distance, kind of shocked I wasn’t stopped, but I just continued on. I eventually left for the golf course in Fairbury and played a couple holes on the one day allowed for golf in the state of Illinois. I hit a solid pitching wedge from about 116 yards out and stuck it seven feet from the hole and found my last photo for the gallery. I miss sports, as I’m sure many others do.
